The Yo-Chi Programme is designed for children aged 3–11 and draws from holistic practices around the world. Our curriculum blends Seasonal Yoga and Tai Chi with mindfulness, guided relaxation, creative storytelling, drama, and puppetry. Through each term, children explore seasonal energies, natural rhythms, and a playful “Campfire Story” featuring expressive characters that support emotional learning. Movement, breathwork, and calming techniques are woven into every session, helping children develop body awareness, emotional intelligence, and a joyful sense of self.

General Information: 

Over this term we will be covering our Winter programme. This half term our Winter physical and emotional themes delivered through Yoga, craft, drama and mindfulness are as follows:

·       Reflection and introspection

·       Regeneration and ways to build energy

·       Imagination

·       Stillness and taking your time

·       Hope and aspiration - what would we like to be - what would we like to happen?  

·       Creativity and clarity

·       Calm

·       Courage/fear

We have a lovely new campfire story and Morgan’s organ friends this half term are: Baldrick Bladder, Kidney twins and Brian the Brain. The children will develop their learning about these organs in a fun way and engaging way. 

Fees and payment information for this term:

Yo-chi will be at Bentworth every Tuesday 3.30pm - 4.30pm.

Term dates are: 13/27 Jan, 3/10/24 Feb, 3/10/17/24 March  

Please note there will be no club on Tuesday 20th Jan due to prior commitments.

The fees for this term will be: £72 (for the 9 weeks). An additional £10 for each child for those who who want a Yo-chi T-shirt and booklet. 

 Just to remind you that they will need to bring the following items to all sessions: 

·       A small blanket (for relaxation at the end of the session)

·       T-shirt, leggings, shorts or tracksuit bottoms

·       A bottle of water and small healthy snack.
